Band Bio
Since their conception in the spring of 2001
From a small town in Western MI, DURT has been
Quoted as being the best thing to hit Western MI
Since the lumber business by fans and club owners.
Self described as Groove metal, DURT is a
Mix of powerful guitar work, infectious grooves, and
Unforgettable hooks with musicianship to match.
Founding members: Bassist Chris(Big Eazy)Bertram
Drummer Tim Russell, and Guitarist Rob Schultz
which have also been in several bands in the past,
got together and after writing a few songs they knew the
chemistry was right for making music, and it was time to
find a Front Man to match the trios distinct groove. With
Several auditions later and no luck, Big Eazy answered an
Ad at a local tee shirt/body jewelry shop of a singer/lyricists.
Yancy auditioned and the quest was over. DURT has now become complete.
DURT has went on to play many successful local
shows and released a demo in December 2001. They
are going to be releasing another demo in the early 2002.
And hope to take the show on the road.

We where recording at the Rock Harbor (but are closed down due to not promoting there shows) and so we have tried to get in contact with them but we got no reply. So fuck it, you live and learn. Back to the drawing board.
